A good friend of mine told me a story the other day.
It made me feel sad, 'cuz I realized how true it was.
It made me feel happy, 'cuz I love stories like this.
I've asked him for permission to post it here, and he said it was fine.

So here it is.
One day, a teacher took a piece of chalk in his hand and drew a small dot on the blackboard.
He turned to his students and asked, "Class, what do you see here?"
"A dot," they answered.
The teacher smiled and shook his head. "No, it's a blackboard."
What the story is trying to tell us is that most people always look on the negative side of things or people, even if it's small.
They tend to ignore the positive side, even when it's huge and right in front of their noses.
... I don't think I told it very well. I think my friend did a better job at telling it, but still. I hope it means something to everyone out there.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
